Members of the Hindu community in Ipswich & suffolk celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm at the Hindu Mandir, in their homes and with friends. Mandir was open for Darshan for members to have darshan of deities. Lakshami was held on Wednesday 26th Oct in the Mandir with bhajans.
More than 3,000 visted the Diwali Bazar in the Ipswich market square on Saturday 23rd October.
More than hundred members of the community attended the Annkut celebration with bhajans and thali & Aarti on Sunday 30th October.
And finally, the Diwali Milan was hosted by the Suffolk New College on Monday 31st October, with Indian vegetarian buffett dinner prepared by students chef trainees.
